Ukraine installs anti-drone nets on major Kiev bridge amid rising Russian strikes
For the first time since the invasion began, Ukraine has placed anti-drone protection nets on a key bridge over the Dniepr in Kiev to guard against Russian drone attacks.
Originally intended only for roads near the front lines, the anti-drone netting has been extended to a principal Kiev bridge after repeated Russian strikes on the capital. The mesh captures enemy drone propellers, preventing them from reaching their targets. Such defenses have already been used extensively in eastern and southern Ukraine near the combat zones.
