Ukraine launches massive drone barrage, striking deep inside Russia
Ukraine carried out one of its biggest aerial assaults on Russia, deploying hundreds of drones and causing at least six fatalities.
In a large-scale operation, Ukrainian forces sent a swarm of drones toward Russian territory, with the Ministry of Defence reporting the detection of roughly 600 unmanned aircraft aimed at Moscow. Russian air defenses claimed to have shot down 822 drones overnight, including a third over the capital region. The strike resulted in a death toll of at least six people.
