Ukraine outlines UNGA agenda, stressing war crimes and humanitarian aid

Ukraine's foreign ministry spokesperson outlined the priorities for the country's delegation at the upcoming UN General Assembly. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to deliver a key speech, after which a UN Security Council session on Ukraine will take place. The programme includes the sixth Crimea Platform Summit and discussions on securing energy supplies before winter, Black Sea stability and grain export routes.

Olena Zelenska, the First Lady, will lead a dedicated humanitarian track. Delegates will also press the international community to address Russian crimes in occupied territories, notably the humanitarian disaster in Oleshky and the deportation and militarisation of Ukrainian children. The ministry urged stronger pressure on Russia and increased support for Ukraine's defence forces to move toward peace.
