A Ukrainian drone strike injured eight people, including a child, in Russia's Ulyanovsk region, while another drone hit a truck in Belgorod, killing one civilian.
Ukrainian drones targeted several Russian regions on Friday and overnight. In Ulyanovsk, Governor Alexei Russkikh said the attack damaged both industrial and civilian infrastructure and left eight people, among them a child, wounded. Belgorod's regional operational headquarters confirmed that a drone struck a truck, killing one civilian and wounding another.
Voronezh's governor, Alexander Gusev, reported that air defence units destroyed 88 drones over the capital and six districts, injuring four people and damaging homes, vehicles and factories. In Perm, Governor Dmitry Makhonin said air defence and mobile fire units repelled a massive drone assault on an industrial site, with no immediate casualty reports. The incidents could not be independently verified.
