Monthly Russian losses have averaged around 30,000, spiking to 124,170 during the three summer months, with July alone reaching a record 42,860 and August staying above 40,000.
An electronic warfare specialist using the callsign 'Strada' explained that Russia's reliance on mass infantry assaults drives these high figures and cautioned that the steady attrition is degrading the quality, training and readiness of its units. In September, the daily loss tally was reported at 20,360. The General Staff emphasized that such sustained casualties are unsustainable for Moscow's war effort.
