UMS Integration Ltd asked regulators to suspend trading of its shares on both Bursa Malaysia and the Singapore Exchange, with the pause lasting from 9 am until 5 pm. The filing with Bursa Malaysia confirmed the company’s request. Before the suspension, the stock ended the previous session at RM8.61, giving the firm a market capitalisation of RM7.7 billion.
The company, listed primarily on SGX and secondarily on Bursa Malaysia since August last year, provides precision engineering for global semiconductor manufacturers. Its shares hit a peak of RM9.02 in June after unveiling a RM14.5 million investment to expand into Vietnam. In the second quarter of 2026, net profit jumped 89 percent to S$19.4 million from the prior year.
Why it matters
The trading halt signals a pending corporate announcement that could affect investors and the semiconductor supply chain.
