He highlighted that security forces successfully contained the large crowd without any deaths or serious injuries. Rijiju drew a comparison with past periods of unrest, mentioning that thousands died from gunfire in the Congress era and many were killed during the Telangana state-creation movement, whereas the current protest saw no shots fired.

He credited the authorities for maintaining order while allowing the demonstration to proceed. The comments were aimed at defending the police’s handling of the event amid criticism from some quarters. No injuries or fatalities were reported among the protesters.
