United Airlines adds five new nonstop routes, including three to Canada

United Airlines announced five new nonstop flights, with three international services to Canada and two new domestic connections.

United Airlines revealed plans to expand its network with five new nonstop routes. Two domestic services—Houston to Joplin and Washington Dulles to Lancaster—address capacity constraints caused by ongoing work at Chicago O’Hare. On the international side, United will revive a Denver-Ottawa connection discontinued in 2010, launch a new Denver-Quebec City link, and re-enter Newfoundland and Labrador with seasonal Newark-St. John’s flights, the first such service since 2016.

These Canadian additions are part of a broader cooperation with Air Canada, which is also rolling out new U.S.-Canada routes of its own. The domestic routes are slated for launch this spring, while the Canadian flights will commence in the summer.
