Three people fled a police checkpoint in Budapest's 14th district; the driver, a 31-year-old woman without a licence, ignored multiple orders and ran red lights.
In Budapest's XIV. district, officers attempted to stop a car that had already been removed from traffic and was uninsured. The 31-year-old driver, who had no licence and two active warrants, refused to stop despite several warnings, crossing three red lights and violating a no-entry restriction twice. The vehicle also contained a telescopic metal baton, prompting additional charges for illegal possession. All three occupants received positive results on on-site drug tests. Police detained the driver for driving under the influence and are pursuing drug-possession charges against the passengers.
