The University of Washington football team completed its fifth fall practice, with coaches praising the development of several players, including transfers and longtime teammates.

The University of Washington held its fifth fall football practice, focusing on unity and competition for starting roles. Longtime collaborators Demond Williams Jr. and Dezmen Roebuck reflected on their shared history from youth leagues, while the coaching staff highlighted the continued dominance of Roebuck in the absence of Dylan Robinson. Center Kolt Dietrich earned first-team reps, and wide receiver Christian Moss impressed enough to start every practice at the first-team level.

Coach Jedd Fisch singled out Ramzak Fruean for gaining weight, maturity, and a better grasp of teamwork, and praised Moss as a "dude" who makes big plays. The Big Ten Network filmed the session, and Pro Football Focus praised defensive transfers DeSean Watts and Darin Conley for their potential impact.
