Victims' families exit courtroom after graphic fetal video shown at Linton trial
Relatives of the six people killed in Nicole Linton’s high-speed crash left the courtroom when prosecutors displayed disturbing footage of an unborn child.
In the Los Angeles Superior Court trial of Nicole Linton, a traveling nurse accused of killing six people, prosecutors presented harrowing video of the unborn child of victim Asherey Ryan being ripped from her womb. Witnesses described a “little baby flying over her head,” and the footage prompted the victims’ families to sob uncontrollably and exit the courtroom. Brittany Vannoy, the prosecutor, highlighted that Linton accelerated her Mercedes to between 122 and 130 mph before colliding with multiple vehicles and causing a fireball.
