Vincent Roberti appointed interim president of 2030 Winter Games organizing committee

Vincent Roberti, currently the general manager of Alpes 2030, has been named interim president of the 2030 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Organising Committee after Edgar Grospiron's resignation.

After Edgar Grospiron stepped down as head of the 2030 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Organising Committee, the body faced a leadership gap. On Monday, the executive board appointed Vincent Roberti, who already serves as general manager of Alpes 2030, to act as interim president. The decision was ratified by an extraordinary general assembly that amended the committee's statutes to permit the dual role temporarily.

The board subsequently formalised Roberti's appointment, emphasizing the need for stable governance and uninterrupted operations. This interim solution will remain in place until a new permanent president is selected. Officials indicated the arrangement is intended to safeguard the progress of preparations for the upcoming Games.
