Lucy Stevens is passionate. "Some of the most amazing experiences of my life have come out of volunteering. " The 24-year-old has already spent more than a decade volunteering and has no intention of slowing down. 5 million Australians who, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, volunteered in 2025 in a formal or informal capacity. In 2018, as part of her involvement with the Duke of Edinburgh award program, she was one of four Australian school students to go to Zimbabwe and South Africa, spending time in remote communities with World Vision.
