The Volvo EX60, featuring an 800 V architecture and a 92 kWh battery, offers rapid acceleration, a comfortable ride and ample cargo space.
Volvo’s new EX60 marks a shift toward high-voltage electric platforms, employing an 800 V system and a 92 kWh pack that supports 370 kW fast charging. The reviewer drove the P10 AWD Ultra trim, which delivers 375 kW of power, 0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, and a top speed of 180 km/h. The vehicle’s 22-inch wheels and calibrated suspension balance a plush ride with responsive handling, even in corners. Inside, the SUV provides generous rear-seat space and a 523-liter boot, while the cockpit features a small oval steering wheel that offers precise feedback.
The EX60’s claimed maximum range is 660 km, but practical tests yielded about 500 km per charge, with energy use just above 20 kWh/100 km in mixed driving. Fast charging can add more than 300 km of range in ten minutes, making it suitable for longer trips.
