Warriors add former No. 52 draft pick Alex Toohey to training camp roster

The Golden State Warriors announced that Alex Toohey, the forward drafted from Canberra at No. 52 in 2025, will join their training camp roster after being waived in December. Toohey, who appeared in only two G League Santa Cruz games due to a knee injury, is competing alongside Malevy Leons for one of the team's two-way spots. Additional candidates include shooter LJ Cryer, rookie guard Lajae Jones, and Exhibit 10 players Deivon Smith and Graham Ike.

The Warriors have also signed veterans Georges Niang and Brandon Williams on minimum deals, bringing the squad to 20 players. Former Bulls first-round pick Dalen Terry will attend camp but must earn a full-time roster spot, as he is ineligible for a two-way contract. The camp starts on September 29 in Hawaii and runs through October 3 at BYU-Hawaii, ahead of the preseason opener in Honolulu.
