The vehicle involved is Waymo’s light-blue Zeekr RT, an all-electric robotaxi built by a Geely subsidiary that began commercial service this year. Although it shares hardware with Chinese electric vans, the RT was produced exclusively for Waymo. This incident adds to a recent grievance from a San Jose rider who said a Waymo car drove off with his luggage still in the trunk after an airport drop-off.
