White House launches MAGA-themed retro video game site

The White House unveiled a new website featuring classic arcade games rebranded with pro-Trump, anti-immigration imagery.

On Thursday the White House rolled out a website that hosts retro-style arcade games redesigned with MAGA motifs. The collection includes a Snake variant starring Border Czar Tom Homan leading a line of people in orange jumpsuits, a Duck Hunt-like game where users net gold bars with the Washington Monument in view, and a Flappy Bird clone that guides a bald eagle over a stylized National Mall. A Tetris-inspired mode lets players assemble a pixelated southern border wall, and another game features a boxing match against “unhealthy” foods with a nod to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s health initiative. Officials said the project highlights a “culture of fun and winning” versus the “dark socialist vision” they attribute to Democrats.

Why it matters

It shows the administration using digital media to promote its political messaging and critique opponents.
