Wizz Air reinstates Larnaca-Abu Dhabi flights for winter travel season

Wizz Air will restart its Larnaca-Abu Dhabi service on October 27, adding three weekly flights with fares from €24.99 as part of a broader winter schedule to the Middle East.

Wizz Air confirmed that its Larnaca-Abu Dhabi connection will be back in service from October 27, offering three weekly flights with tickets starting at €24.99, the lowest fare among the 12 routes being revived for the winter period. The airline is also bringing back flights to Dubai, Jeddah and Amman, with staggered start dates from late September through October. In total, the winter schedule will deliver 470,000 seats on 12 routes and 49 weekly flights linking major European hubs with the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.

Recent revisions by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency to conflict-zone recommendations, together with Wizz Air’s own operational and security assessments, underpinned the decision. Corporate communications manager Olivia Harangozo said the return of these destinations meets customer demand for warmer winter getaways. The airline will continue to monitor security conditions and may adjust services as needed.
