Woman allegedly stripped and beaten by club bouncers after midnight altercation in Guwahati
A woman was reportedly stripped and assaulted by female bouncers at a Guwahati nightclub around 1:30 am following a drunken fight.
In the early hours of Friday, a woman entered the basement area of a nightclub in Guwahati’s Khanapara neighborhood while heavily intoxicated. A confrontation with female bouncers ensued after the staff objected to the woman’s attire, leading the guard on duty to say the woman struck a bouncer. The guard alleges that the bouncers then stripped and beat the woman, with footage online depicting her on the floor without upper clothing while two women in black strike and kick her.
The video’s authenticity remains unverified. After the assault, the woman was escorted out by her companions. Neither the district police chief nor the club’s management have commented on the incident.
