Woman critically injured after CTA bus strikes her on North DuSable Lake Shore Drive
A 40-year-old woman was hit by a CTA bus in Lincoln Park Sunday night and was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Police discovered the victim lying in the road shortly after 9 p.m. in the 2500 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive. The CTA bus collided with her, and emergency responders transported her to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she remains in critical condition. No traffic citations have been issued, and the Major Accident Unit is conducting an investigation into the incident.
