Woman dies after jumping from downtown Los Angeles luxury high-rise
An adult woman leapt from a luxury apartment building in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning and was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
Emergency crews responded to a call about a jumper at around 8:51 a.m. near 1200 S Grand Ave. Both the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department arrived at the scene. The woman fell from the building and was taken to a medical facility, where she was declared deceased. Police did not provide further details, citing their policy on suicide investigations.
