Woman fatally stabbed in La Campana as suspect barricades himself in home

Around 22:40 on Saturday in the municipality of La Campana, Sevilla, a 47-year-old woman suffered several stab wounds and later died at a medical centre at 23:28. The victim, named Vanesa Y.M., was attended by emergency services before her death was confirmed. Authorities allege that her 56-year-old partner is responsible for the killing and has since fortified himself inside a house in the same town. The Guardia Civil has deployed a tactical unit to maintain pressure and secure his surrender. The investigation continues as officials monitor the situation.
