Woman Found Stabbed to Death Inside Central Park Gazebo Near Boathouse
A woman with multiple stab wounds was discovered dead in a gazebo by Central Park's boathouse on Sunday.
Authorities located the victim's body at 9:40 a.m. in the park near 74th Street and East Drive. Emergency medical services pronounced her dead at 10:03 a.m. The injuries included several slashes and head trauma. Police have not made any arrests, and the cause of death is still under investigation.
