Wrestler Benjamin Satterley Found Dead in Illinois Parking Lot, Police Note Saliva and Medication
Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac in AEW, was discovered dead in a rental car at a Des Plaines CAVA parking lot, with saliva on his shirt and medication in his vehicle.
Des Plaines police discovered the body of Benjamin Satterley, the AEW performer known as Pac, in a rental car parked at a CAVA location on Sept. 27 at about 4 p.m. The incident report notes saliva on the front of his shirt and a medication container in the vehicle, though the medication type was omitted. No significant items were found in his pockets or backpack. His cellphone remained open to Google Maps, directing him to O’Hare Airport, and call logs showed a woman stating she last spoke with him at 1320 hours, when he mentioned going to CAVA for lunch.
She also said his flight back to the UK, scheduled for roughly 1530 hours, had been delayed. Authorities found no obvious injuries or suspicious circumstances in the car, and a cause of death awaits further testing after an initial autopsy by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. Satterley had wrestled Andrade the night before at Chicago’s NOW Arena and was 40 years old.
