Xiaomi rolls out Redmi Note 17 Pro and Pro Max with Snapdragon 6-series in India
Xiaomi has launched two new Redmi Note models in India, the Note 17 Pro and Note 17 Pro Max, equipped with Snapdragon 6-series processors and high-end displays.
Xiaomi announced the Indian release of two Redmi Note smartphones: the Note 17 Pro and the Note 17 Pro Max. The Note 17 Pro runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 chipset, whereas the Note 17 Pro Max is equipped with the newer Snapdragon 6 Gen 5. Both devices share a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display that supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Photography hardware includes a 50 MP primary sensor paired with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens; the Pro Max also offers a 32 MP front-facing camera and can record video in 4K. Power is supplied by a 9,000 mAh battery with 67 W fast charging on the Pro and a 10,000 mAh pack with 100 W HyperCharge and reverse charging on the Pro Max. Both phones operate on Android 16-based HyperOS 3, targeting the mid-range market in India.
