According to a statement posted on Facebook, the Taiz Military Axis confirmed fierce combat on Wednesday at the Dhubab front west of Taiz city and at the al-Aqrud and al-Shaqab fronts to the south. Air strikes hit a Houthi convoy of tanks and vehicles in the Ras al-Najd area of Al-Misrakh district, while additional attacks targeted positions near Sofitel Hill east of the city. The army estimates the combined death and injury toll exceeds 200 combatants.
