Yemeni forces claim 97 precision strikes against Houthi positions in Lahij and Taiz
Yemeni military spokesman Majid Abdullah Al-Nuzaili said government forces carried out 97 precision operations targeting Houthi fighters on the Al-Tawwahi front in Lahij and Taiz provinces.
According to Brigadier General Majid Abdullah Al-Nuzaili, the operations employed aircraft, drones, artillery, missiles and snipers, neutralising 260 militia members and damaging various military and transport vehicles. The spokesman also previously reported that at least 700 Houthi combatants were killed across 257 attacks in multiple provinces, including Sanaa, Midi and Marib. These statements highlight an intensified campaign by Yemeni forces against the Houthi movement in the south-west of the country.
