Young man fatally stabbed outside Birmingham pub in early-morning attack
A man in his mid-20s was stabbed to death outside the Beggars Bush pub in Sutton Coldfield just before 2 am, prompting a murder investigation.
In the early hours of the morning, officers were called to the Beggars Bush pub car park on Chester Road in Sutton Coldfield, where a man in his twenties was discovered with severe stab injuries. The victim, thought to be around 25, could not be revived by emergency services. Detectives from the West Midlands Police Major Crime Unit have opened a murder probe but have not yet identified a suspect.
They are examining CCTV, dash-cam and doorbell camera recordings and have appealed to partygoers and the public for any leads.
