Zavvi enters administration, cancelling all orders and pre-orders
The UK collector-focused retailer Zavvi has been placed into administration, halting trading and voiding all pending orders.
Zavvi, a UK-based online hub for Blu-ray, DVD and collectible fans, was placed into administration on 12 October 2026, with BDO LLP’s Chris Skey and Kerry Bailey acting as joint administrators. The insolvency process forced the retailer to cease all trading activities at once, leaving all outstanding orders and pre-orders unfulfilled. Customers have been advised not to place new orders and to seek reimbursement through their banks, card issuers, or other consumer-protection schemes such as section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
An email inbox ([email protected]) has been created for queries, but the administrators warned that they cannot respond individually to each question. An automated reply will provide a FAQ and guidance on filing claims, with further updates to be posted on the site as they become available.
Why it matters
Consumers who bought collectibles from Zavvi may lose money and must navigate refund processes.
