Zelenskyy says Ukraine has waited nearly a month for US Patriot missiles
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said the country has been waiting almost a month for the United States to approve delivery of Patriot and NASAMS missile systems.
Zelenskyy posted on X that Ukraine is pursuing several channels, including the United States, Europe and other partners, to obtain Patriot missile launchers. He noted a delay of almost a month for the US Defense Minister Hegseth to sign off on the shipments. The president added that the pace is slower than the Russian drone threat and warned that promises must be fulfilled promptly. Over the past three months, Ukraine has received 24 Patriot launchers, far short of the roughly 350 it needs each month, according to his remarks.
