Zimbabwe announced a revised lineup for the three-day One Day International series against Australia, appointing Sikandar Raza as captain following Richard Ngarava's lower-back injury. Veteran batsman Brendan Taylor, aged 40, re-joins the ODI squad after a year’s absence and will assume wicket-keeping duties while regular keeper Clive Madande recovers from injury. Leg-spinner Graeme Cremer, also 40, is recalled to bolster the bowling attack, marking his first ODI appearance in eight years after recent participation in a T20 tri-series in Windhoek.
Alongside Ngarava, fast bowler Tanaka Chivanga is sidelined with an Achilles tendon issue. The matches are scheduled at Harare Sports Club on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, featuring a squad that includes Ben Curran, Blessing Muzarabani and others.
