AC Milan's Europa League group pits them against Sunderland and Bournemouth

AC Milan, led by new coach Ruben Amorim, will host Sunderland and travel to Bournemouth in the upcoming Europa League group stage.

AC Milan entered the Europa League draw with Ruben Amorim as their freshly appointed manager, securing a home game versus Sunderland and an away tie at Bournemouth. The club will also host former European Cup champion Benfica at the San Siro, echoing their 1990 final clash. In parallel, Juventus was paired with Real Sociedad and Celta Vigo, while a neutral venue awaits their match against Hapoel Beer-Sheva, which must journey through several countries to face clubs like AZ Alkmaar and Besiktas.

Crystal Palace, previously barred from the competition, now meets Lyon after John Textor severed ties with the French side, now owned by Michele Kang. The group stage kicks off on September 16-17 and runs through January, with a €565 million prize pool funded by UEFA.
