Akmal offers motorcycle and tilapia for auction to satisfy court-ordered payment

Akmal announced he will auction his motorcycle and tilapia to raise the RM300,000 ordered by the Melaka High Court after a defamation ruling.

The Melaka High Court ruled against Akmal after he insulted Kok in a TikTok video, mandating RM250,000 in damages plus RM50,000 in legal fees. Lacking sufficient savings and any real estate to liquidate, Akmal disclosed that his only owned assets are a motorcycle and tilapia, both fully paid for. He posted on Facebook that he will auction these items, asking interested parties to submit a RM100 deposit along with proof of payment and their offer.

The deposit will be returned if the bid is unsuccessful. Akmal expressed respect for the court’s decision and a preference to settle the debt himself rather than depend on public donations. He noted the emotional difficulty of parting with cherished possessions but preferred it to burdening others.
