Apple unveils iPhone 18 lineup and its first foldable at September event
Apple will host its “Surprise and Shine” keynote on September 9, introducing the iPhone 18 series, the inaugural foldable iPhone Ultra, and updates to its Watch, AirPods and home devices.
Apple’s “Surprise and Shine” keynote is scheduled for 10 a.m. PT on September 9 at Apple Park, where new CEO John Ternus will take the stage for his debut. The company will launch the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, touted to have a mechanical variable-aperture camera, the TSMC-fabricated 2nm A20 Pro processor, longer battery life and a Sky Blue titanium finish. A first-ever foldable iPhone, likely called iPhone Ultra, is set to appear with a 7.8-inch inner screen, a smaller cover display, side Touch ID and a price around $2,500.
Apple is also expected to roll out the Apple Watch Series 12, a redesigned Watch Ultra 4, AirPods 5 with possible health sensors, and a new Home Hub to broaden its smart-home ecosystem. The keynote will be streamed live via Apple’s website, the Apple TV app and its official YouTube channel.
