In the closing months of the Madrid legislature, President Isabel Díaz Ayuso is set to reorganise her regional government after People's Party leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo recruited two of her senior officials for the party's congressional list in Madrid. Environment, Agriculture and Interior Minister Carlos Novillo and Vice-presidency Deputy José Antonio Sánchez Serrano will leave their posts to run in the election. Ayuso plans to assign Housing, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Jorge Rodrigo to the vacant Environment ministry, promote Transport Vice-minister José María García Gómez to head Housing, and name Ángel San Gregorio, currently Director General of Citizen Attention and Transparency, as Vice-president. The changes will be enacted through presidential decrees and council approvals, with the new ministers assuming office on Wednesday after their appointments appear in the Boletín Oficial de la Comunidad de Madrid, prior to an extraordinary telematic council session.
