Alisa Goods, 63, traveled from Brooklyn to Las Vegas to visit a friend and was last seen leaving a residence near the Strip on August 8 to shop at a CVS. Surveillance cameras later showed her stumbling down an embankment, standing briefly, and then falling again, after which she remained motionless. On August 20, officers found her remains in a drainage ditch that was not visible from the street, located near an airport.
The discovery occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m., and the site was secured by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. Officials have not disclosed the manner of her death, and the case remains under investigation. The incident highlights safety concerns for visitors in the area.
