CJP founder urges officials to send their children to public schools
CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke challenged ministers, education officials and teachers to enroll their kids in government schools, arguing it would boost confidence in the system.
Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, publicly asked education ministers, department officials, school principals and teachers to enroll their own children in government schools, claiming such a move would quickly enhance the quality of public education. He posted the remark on Twitter, noting the irony of officials sending their kids to private institutions while overseeing the public system. The statement came a day after repair work began at a Zilla Parishad-run school in his native village of Santuk Pimpri, after he inspected the campus and pointed out broken windows and missing basic amenities.
Following his visit, the local gram panchayat ordered the necessary repairs. In a separate post, Dipke praised the suspension of the school principal in Limbala, describing it as the first major win for villagers and dedicating it to a local activist named Abdul and his father.
Why it matters
It highlights a call for accountability in education by urging officials to trust and improve public schools.
