Community raises nearly £80,000 for family of three-year-old found dead in Suffolk pond
Donations totalling almost £80,000 have been collected for the Woods family after three-year-old Noah Woods was found dead in Decoy Pond, Brantham.
Three-year-old Noah Woods, who was non-verbal, partially deaf and awaiting an autism assessment, went missing after running away from a relative at a local playground in Brantham, Suffolk. Despite a large-scale search that included police, a specialist diving team, coastguard, firefighters, search-and-rescue and canine units, his body was recovered from Decoy Pond on the following day. The Woods family, consisting of parents Rhys Woods and Charlie Peck and a younger brother, received a wave of sympathy and financial aid.
A fundraiser organized by the Good Dads Club has raised almost £80,000, surpassing its initial target. The parents expressed deep gratitude to volunteers, emergency services and the wider public for their compassion during this tragic period.
