Congress puts up Batman-themed posters of Rahul Gandhi outside party headquarters
Posters depicting Rahul Gandhi as a "real-life Batman" were displayed outside the Congress headquarters in New Delhi, echoing his recent social-media outreach to young voters.
Outside the Congress party's New Delhi office, large posters portray Rahul Gandhi as a "real-life Batman" and describe him as a "silent guardian" watching over the public. The campaign builds on Gandhi's recent Instagram "Ask Me Anything" event, during which he playfully responded to a query about being Batman and shared a rain-soaked video set to The Dark Knight theme. The party amplified these clips in a video montage released after the session.
Meanwhile, Gandhi spent five hours protesting at the Parliament Street Police Station, pressing for a formal FIR concerning 19-year-old Sahil Lochab, who suffered pellet injuries during a police crackdown on a July 20 student demonstration at Jantar Mantar. He arrived with Lochab, his mother and their lawyer, later joined by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other Congress leaders, and met senior police officials at the DCP office in Connaught Place. The Delhi Police subsequently filed a case related to the incident.

The stunt shows how Indian politicians use pop-culture memes and digital outreach to connect with younger voters while highlighting ongoing protest issues.
