Debris from shot-down Houthi drone kills Yemeni and injures two in Saudi Arabia

Saudi civil defense reported that fragments from an intercepted Houthi drone caused one death and two injuries in Taif province.

Officials said the downed drone's wreckage struck civilians, killing a Yemeni national and wounding a Saudi citizen and a Pakistani. The falling debris also damaged nearby vehicles and buildings. The incident occurs amid heightened clashes between Iran-backed Houthi forces and Saudi-backed Yemeni government troops.

Why it matters
