He argued that Georgescu’s backers are a minority, some possibly pro-Russian or anti-European, but not dominant. The minister suggested that many supporters were drawn by dissatisfaction with previous governments and misinformation on social platforms. He concluded by advising the public to spend less time on social media and avoid following Georgescu on TikTok.
