Donald and Melania Trump to cast early ballots in Palm Beach on Saturday
Donald Trump and Melania Trump will vote in person during Florida's first day of early voting on Saturday, according to a White House official.
A White House spokesperson confirmed that the president and first lady plan to vote early in Palm Beach County, Florida, on the opening day of the state's early-voting period. While Trump has previously said he prefers to vote on Election Day, he is registered in Palm Beach County and will be there on Saturday. The president's schedule for Election Day remains unclear, and he has been traveling for campaign rallies, including recent stops in South Carolina and Iowa and a planned speech in Fort Myers before heading to Mar-a-Lago.
Why it matters
The former president's early voting highlights his campaign strategy and could influence voter turnout in a key swing state.
