Drone strikes hit residential towers in Kyiv, killing a teen and spark further casualties in Odessa
Drone attacks struck two high-rise apartment blocks in Kyiv, killing a 14-year-old boy, while a separate strike in Odessa destroyed a post office and killed a man and a woman.
During the night leading into Friday, Ukrainian authorities reported drone-borne munitions hitting at least two tall residential buildings in Kyiv, leaving a black, smoking hole across two floors and causing the death of a 14-year-old boy. In Odessa, a post terminal was set ablaze by a similar attack, resulting in the deaths of a woman and a man. Ukrainian Air Force data show that Russian forces launched a total of 295 attack drones between Thursday evening and Friday morning.
