Enes Kanter Freedom barred from Wintrust Arena after clash with Natasha Cloud

Enes Kanter Freedom, a former NBA center, was removed from a Chicago Sky game after a heated exchange with guard Natasha Cloud late in the third quarter. Kanter was wearing a black shirt that read "WOMAN noun. adult human female" and approached Cloud as she celebrated a basket, leading her to shout and point at him. He then rose from his seat and stepped onto the court, prompting security and several Sky players to intervene.

The team announced that Kanter will be barred from all future events at Wintrust Arena, with owner Michael Alter stating the ban will remain unless Kanter can demonstrate he will not pose a threat. Los Angeles Sparks star Cameron Brink commented on the controversy, calling the transgender athlete discussion a "non-issue" for the WNBA and suggesting Kanter was trying to stay relevant. Kanter responded on one outlet's program, accusing Brink of anti-trans sentiment and demanding changes to the league's collective bargaining agreement.
