Family of murdered border officer receives ongoing community support

The relatives of Norhazwani Ibrahim, a customs officer killed by her husband, continue to be aided by friends, neighbours and colleagues.

Norhazwani Ibrahim, who worked for the Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, was reportedly murdered by her husband at their home in the KLIA quarters in Nilai, Negri Sembilan. Her elder brother Amran, 59, explained that the family has been receiving nonstop visits and donations from relatives, neighbours and MCBA colleagues since the incident. The welfare director Che Samsuzuki Che Noh also stopped by the family's home in Kampung Telaga Lanas to offer support.

Amran reported that the two young nieces are physically well but still struggle emotionally, sometimes requesting video calls with their mother and daily trips to her nearby grave. The community’s continued assistance highlights the solidarity extended to the grieving family.
