Forensic analyst defends findings on undisclosed transactions linked to Vice President Duterte

Financial analyst Alexander Cabrera reiterated his report that companies tied to Vice President Sara Duterte and her husband have unreported transactions, countering the defense's fraud claim.

During the 38th day of Vice President Sara Duterte's impeachment trial, forensic analyst Alexander Cabrera stood by his assessment that certain firms associated with her and lawyer Manases Carpio failed to report financial inflows. Defense lawyer Kristine Ferrer described the matter as alleged fraud, but Cabrera maintained it was a case of non-reporting. The companies examined included GenCorp, Metro City Chow Foods Corp., and Cale88 Foods Corp.

Why it matters

The testimony could influence the outcome of the impeachment trial and public trust in the vice president's financial dealings.
