The former House speaker and Leyte congressman entered a room at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology awaiting his scheduled arraignment. The Sandiganbayan Third Division approved his request to conduct the hearing via videoconference. Court clerk Atty. Dennis Pulma confirmed the tribunal’s decision, and the arraignment was set for 8:30 a.m. Romualdez faces plunder allegations linked to alleged kickbacks from infrastructure project allocations.
