Former Vice Premier Oana Gheorghiu blames extremist politicians for violence at shepherds' protest

Oana Gheorghiu used social media to allege that extremist politicians, some of whom are members of parliament, entered the shepherds' rally held at Piața Victoriei and sought to alter its peaceful nature. She emphasized that her experience protesting corruption has reinforced her conviction that peaceful assembly is essential in a democracy. She directly addressed the alleged infiltrators, accusing them of inciting violence and creating chaos, and held them fully responsible for the clashes that occurred outside the Government building.
