French supermarkets targeted by cyberattack on refrigeration equipment from Danfoss and Copeland
A cyberattack on refrigeration systems has hit several French supermarket chains, affecting units made by Danfoss and Copeland.
ANSSI issued a fresh security alert after a coordinated cyberattack struck refrigeration installations in French supermarkets, targeting devices from Danfoss and Copeland. The incident affected at least 300 Intermarché/Netto locations, under a hundred Coopérative U stores, multiple E.Leclerc shops, 80 Carrefour supermarkets and around thirty Monoprix outlets. Coopérative U acknowledged using Copeland gear, Groupement Mousquetaires reported no current issues, and Carrefour confirmed it does not employ Copeland equipment.
