Geely Announces Entry into Canada with First Sales Planned for 2027
Chinese carmaker Geely Auto confirmed it will launch its first vehicles in Canada in 2027 after setting up local operations.
Geely Auto said it is establishing a Canadian presence, building a retail and service network ahead of its debut sales in 2027. The firm, which markets cars under Geely Auto, Zeekr and Lynk & Co, sold just over 3 million units last year. Bryan Wu, managing director of Geely Auto Canada, described the move as a key step in the company's global expansion. Other Chinese brands such as BYD and Chery are also eyeing the Canadian market. Details on models, pricing and dealership locations will be released later.
